Does a green wall remediate the indoor environment?

A green wall contributes to a better humidity balance and can even control this balance. Besides the wall assimilates CO and CO2 and produces oxygen.The claim that the wall is breaking down the air pollutants to their benign constituents, is never proved.

Is there a full coverage from the beginning?

Yes there is a 90% coverage all the time. ( see "The ecosystem")

How much does the construction of a green wall cost?

€ 500/m2 exclusive VAT and exclusive the cost for external water supply and water drainage.

How much maintenance is required?

We advise to do some pruning twice a year.

Do I have to fertilize the plants?

No, the mineralization of the added peat provides sufficient minerals for the plants for the coming years. Here counts the
law of minimum offer: plant growth is limited by the nutrient that is the least for hands. Peat has all the needed minerals in the most natural way, this includes also chelators.

How often should I water the plants?

That depends of:

the oriëntation of the site
the daily temperature
the season

The best thing to do is to choose for computerization.
There are 3 ways to do so:

moisture sensor (tensiometer) regulates it all
an interval switch dose whether the waterquantity or time
a computer-driven program with "live" remote monitoring controls take care of everything.

Is the wall soaking any water?

No, the modules are waterproof and they are hanging 5 cm of the wall.

What time does the implementation take?

Normally 4 weeks, except for the winter months,when we don't plant.

Are the modules with the plants sensible for frost?

No.

Yes

How long is the warranty?

10 years

Can roots grow into the wall?

No, that's impossible.

Can I choose for only Lavendel plants?

Of course,even a rose garden is possible.

Is my wall strong enough?

Maximum weight of the modules is 60 Kg / m2. This is no problem for any normal brick wall at all.

How does the wall in the winter look like?

Indoor there is no change. Outdoor, the choice of the assortment of plants determine the look.

Does the water devide everywhere in the module?

Through a custom mix substrate the water will be present everywhere in equal quantity.

Are there weeds coming in the vertical wall?

Hardly, however seed fluff e.g. might be blown into the wall as long as it is not solid covered.

How many plants are there in a green wall?

We make the modules with a density of 80-90 plants per m2.
This provides an ideal microclimate and similar plants create their own ecology.

Is the ground just hanging?

Fortunately yes, because the use of a special substrate with an additive the binding is intense.

Are there drain pipes insight?

No, they are all inside the module
